How to copy flash files using Mozilla Firefox

Firefox Setup

  1. Open Mozilla Firefox for download settings.
  2. Click Tools in Menu Bar then select Option.
  3. In Options Dialog Box click Download Tab.
  4. Select ‘Ask me where to save all my files’.
  5. In Download Action Section click View and Edit Actions button.
  6. Scroll down to locate and select the SWF (Shockwave Flash) file.
  7. Click the Change Action then select 'Save them on my computer' and click OK.
  8. Close 'Download Action' dialog box the click 'OK' in Options Dialog.

How to download Flash

  • Open webpage with flash file.
  • (sample page: http://www.flashgames247.com/play/805.html)
  • Right-click the webpage then select ‘View Page Source’ or View Selection Source.
  • On Page source then find ‘swf’ file. (example below)

/games/ninjashowdown/ninjashowdown.swf"

  • Select then copy the entire path link. (Example: http://www.flashgames247.com/13557/ games/ninjashowdown/ninjashowdown.swf
  • Go back to webpage then paste the copied link on Navigation Toolbar or Address Bar.
  • A Dialog box will appear to save the flash file.
That’s it and enjoy!

By the way… this will not work with php pages.
